Lori, High Point: First trip to Alaska and we cannot wait to return. Alaska Active Tours did an awesome job in planning our trip. We traveled by cruise ship to Seward, took the motorcoach to Talkeetna and travelled onboard the Alaska Railroad to Denali and Fairbanks. Each had its benefits and we were very glad to have traveled in all 3 carriers. The bus picked us up at the cruise ship terminal in Seward and was very comfortable. The driver gave some history facts as she transported us to Talkeetna. Thanks for suggesting to join the Talkeetna flightseeing tour. This was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. Flying through snowing mountain peeks and cliffs was mind blowing. Another highlight was the train ride to Denali and Fairbanks. Tour guide on the train was phenomenal! Saw nature in a way that cannot be done any other way. Train was immaculate and the service/food was super! Saw Denali for the first time as weather conditions weren't favorable otherwise and right before getting into Fairbanks, saw a black bear! This is a definite "must do" while in Alaska.
