Talkeetna, with over 800 inhabitants, lies at the confluence of the Chulitna, Susitna and Talkeetna Rivers and is reached by a main road through George Park Hwy. But Talkeetna is also a great starting point for expeditions by plane or on foot to Mt Denali. But some tourists think Talkeetna is the mystical 'Cicley' from the TV series 'Northern Exposure'.
