Thank you so much for arranging a truly memorable tour itinerary for me. I would recommend all the three places you booked for viewing. I had been looking forward to seeing the Aurora Borealis lights for quite some time. I totally lucked out and saw them each of the three nights you arranged where they hadn't been visible for a few nights prior and at least the night after. The viewing on Saturday/Sunday about 1 AM was an awesome experience.

The extra free day in Fairbanks was put to good use - slept late, got some good shopping in. The Crepery, BIG Daddy's BBQ, The Diner and Lavelle's Bistro in Fairbanks were great places to eat.

The city tour of Fairbanks was informative and was a good kick-off for the rest of my tour. After the tour of the Ice Museum and a good diner at the Chena Resort I enjoyed soaking in the Chena Hot Springs at midnight at -34 F, what a cool experience. The Basecamp was were I got my best pictures of the lights. The staff there was very helpful in fine tuning my camera settings.

Even though the weather was overcast and a bit snowy on my train ride from Fairbanks to Anchorage the 12 hour trip was comfortable and well worth it as the scenery was spectacular. We spotted 15-20 moose in the wild along the way.

All-in-all mission accomplished and then some. I look forward to doing this again in the not too distant future.
