Hi Andrea, 07/20/22 Just wanted tp report on our Alaska vacation.I spent a lot of time on researching for this trip,where to go and what to do.I'm glad I did.There is so much to see and do that one week is really not enough. We never had a problem with the vouchers,even a few places never even asked for them.The Aspen Suites Hotel was very good..The Denali Bluffs was enchanting,except that on the second day when we did the Denali tour( the reservation was good),we had a problem with the courtesy shuttle.We were to be picked up at the same placewhere we were dropped off at,but the shuttle never showed even when the driver had told us that he would be doing the same run every hour.So for almost 4 hrs we waited and called the Bluffs just to be given the run around.We finally got back with a shuttle from another hotel.I had a serious talk with the mgr that said she would look into it(yeah right).They told us that the shuttle was picking up people at the train depot so I told her that it seems to me like the people at the train depot are more important than the people at the visitor center.That was a real irritation that ruined our stay at the Bluffs. Oo our Denali tour it was rainy and foggy so we didn't see much wildlife except for a lonely caribou but even tough it was non eventful,it was just nice to see the scenery.We did the Zoo in Anchorage,the Alyeska tram,a Glacier tour in Seward which was super,Eklutna Lake hike,Thunder Bird Falls hike,Santa's house in North Pole,Museum of the North In Fairbanks as well as The Antique Car Museum,Running Rein Deer Ranch, now that was awesome,Pipeline View Point,Moose Antler Arch,Solomon Gulch Hatchery,Dock Point Hike,Musk Ox Farm in Palmer,wlaked the Valdez harbour and ate at many good restaurants. All the hotels were nice except fot the Mountain Sky Hotel in Valdez.We saw a lot and did a lotand really enjoyed our time in Alaska.
